Just Admit It!
As a believer, I can admit that sin is a tough situation in my life.
If it is not that I fall into it, it is that I am tempted by it. If it is not that I am tempted by it, it is that I don’t realize it til I have fallen into it. If it is not that I don’t realize it til I fall into it, it is that it is tough to acknowledge its presence. If it is not that it is tough to acknowledge its presence, it is that I don’t want to be real about its magnitude or substance. Regardless of the situation, SIN IS A PAIN. I just want to be holy, sanctified, perfect, righteous, true, and one with God. Sin does not allow these things to be the case.
If I would only CONFESS my sin…WOW!
First John makes it clear that confessing our sins will open the door to core fundamental changes for the Godly better. If we confess our sin, God is then true to His promise that He will forgive us. If we confess our sin, God is just in how He deals with us through consequences. If we confess our sin, God will cleanse us from all unrighteousness…the contamination that sin causes.
