We ALL Fall Down
Sometimes it can get a bit overwhelming for the believer.
The level of expectation is so high that if you think about it you may literally “crash”. Some people “crash” by sinning. Some “crash” by giving up. Some “crash” by getting depressed. Some “crash” by giving in to outside perceptions and agendas. Regardless of the method, the individual experiences a separation from the Presence of God, and that is virtually “hell”. So what are all of the things that we need need to balance, handle and maintain?
First I have to believe.
Without any intellectual clarity and sometimes without even personal desire, I must continue to believe that Jesus, the Christ, is my risen Savior, in Him I live and for Him I die to sin. Then after that fundamental beginning, I am left to address a laundry list of accountabilities…faith, love, ministry, knowledge, diligence, trust, peace, power, understanding, etc….
but the glue that binds us to the task is GRACE.
Without GRACE we would have no purpose. Without GRACE we would have no relationship. Without GRACE we would have no value. We must have GRACE to begin, maintain and complete this race!!!!
