My God is ABLE!!!!!
That is the mighty mantra that I cry out as I travel through this barren land (as the old hymn says).
There are so many people and situations that associate themselves with being ABLE, but none are like God.
For those of us who are His, God manifests Himself as ABLE to the “Divine degree”! God is able for us in two ways as the scripture tells us, and these are ways that only those in the Kingdom of God can appreciate. First of all, God is able in that He can deliver us out of temptation. Although the world wants to be delivered INTO temptation, the believer wants to be delivered OUT of it.
We don’t want to be messing with anything that separates us from our Creator.
Then, secondly, we live with the preestablished privilege that God is able to reserve us unto the day of judgment. Although salvation happens at judgment, God is able to keep us until the righteous record is read. We need to be kept because even though we have proclaimed belief in Christ, there are still struggles along the way, snares along the way, and inevitable death.
