As we walk through life, we find ourselves constantly challenged the enemy, our own sin nature, other people and the commission to live according to God’s Word, Will and Way. It’s not easy! However, we have to keep in mind that it is not always something that we have done wrong. Sometimes, for us believers, it could be because of something that we are doing right. Satan does not want us to please God. As the scripture says, Satan wants to STEAL, KILL and DESTROY! Remember, Satan cannot kill our soul! God promised that. However, Satan can STEAL our Joy. Satan can KILL our Spirit. Satan can DESTROY our Hope. We can let that happen. That is where God comes in! Our father does not leave us without resources to fight back. God sent His Son, Jesus, the Christ, in order for us to be able to attain salvation. With salvation, we can LIVE now…no more depression…no more hopelessness…no more loneliness! But it does not end there. God also gave us, through His Son, the privilege of LIFE ETERNAL! Even after this life ends with death, we have the hope and assurance of eternal life with Him! So, it is not just LIFE…it is also LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! Thank You, Father, for your unspeakable Gift!
