This has to be one of the most difficult concepts to embrace and then one of the most challenging actions known to humankind…SUBMIT. A child submits…a helpless person submits…a weak person submits…THIS IS WHAT OUR HUMANITY THINKS. But it is the exact opposite within the Kingdom of God. The adult is called to submit. The equipped person is challenged to submit. The strong are expected to submit. It just doesn’t make sense to the physical…but the spiritual welcomes it.
Why do those who are spiritual embrace this concept and action?
They do because it is the beginning and source of their newly invincible life and empowered existence. Yes, through submission to God the scripture that says that “I can do all things through Christ” becomes real and experienced! It wasn’t until I gave it up to God that I found true freedom, power and joy!!! You see, what we give up to God is replaced by God…and God truly makes it better than we could ever imagine! That’s why I TRUST Him. That’s why I FOLLOW Him. That’s why I OBEY Him. That’s why I LOVE Him! There is no greater friend than Jesus, the Christ! There is no greater power than the Almight God, Jehovah!
