Who is God?
This question came up in a tutoring session. The youth were ages 5 – 12. I put the question out to the youth to give their own understandings and impressions right now. Oh, the incredible response that I got!!! A 6 year old raised her hand. I asked her to give her answer. She looked at me with stolid eyes and a bright countenance and said, “You can read John 15 and get it.” At the moment I did not know what John 15 said but I knew that in that response was God’s answer to that question for us in that session. I ran to get a bible and then looked it up. “I am the true and my father is the husbandmen” OMG!!!!!!! This little child had given the PERFECT, most complete and well communicated answer ever!!!!!! Who is God? God is the one who owns it all. He has set up, is nurturing and will harvest all of this “vineyard” that we live in! Who is God? He is the one who gave up His only begotten Son so that whosoever (that’s me) believeth in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
