God’s Peace
David paid homage to the consoling fact that God will put peace both on you and around you. The green pastures are not just to look at but also to be one with! That is why God makes me to LIE DOWN in them. Oh how consuming the feeling of the green grass all over our bodies can be! The touch of peace becomes peace in us! Then He leads beside the still waters that serve as the resource that we can draw from when we need it.
God makes us PEACE. God provides us PEACE. God contextualizes us within PEACE. God adorns us in PEACE. God wraps us in PEACE. God gifts us PEACE. When we walk, talk, give, live, think and speak PEACE, God makes us to know His PEACE no matter where we look or go and no matter what may be going on around us! When the world is chaotic…I have PEACE. When people around me are stressed or worried…I have PEACE. When I don’t know what to do or where to go….I have PEACE. But, when there is a moment when I don’t have PEACE…I can DECLARE PEACE on my situation and me!!!!!!!
