Necessary Change
Sometimes we simply try to do too much up front.
Conversion is a process.
Salvation is a reservation and not instantaneous transition to Heaven.
Regeneration is a matter of approach and perception…not physical rebirth.
Faith is the intangible tangible and the unwitnessed proof.
Then there is the biggest of all to me, love is manifested in a relationship and not shown in an action!
All of these philosophical statements show how tough it can be to try to believe in God and serve Him daily. But it is only tough because HOW we choose to work it…based on our own understanding. 1John 1:7 gives us a very simple approach that if consistently followed will yield a stolid divine presence and a clarity of thought and action for the believer.
Just walk in the light that is God, and then two things will happen. First, you will have fellowship with your brother and sister. Secondly, the blood of Jesus will cleanse you “throughly”.
These will then leave you right with God and right with your fellow brother and sister.
