The Tragedy of Walls
Jesus has stepped up and in to be the divine mediator between God and man. What does that mean? Man whom God has created and left isolated in sin can now build a perfected relationship with his Creator. God, whom man has alienated in order to preserve, protect and even cultivate both committed and original sin, can now love the creation that is the only source of true glorification. The WIIFM (What is in it for me) for both God and Man is astounding! So what is holding up the process? Why is this relationship flourishing throughout all God’s creation and existence? The reason why is that there is a WALL.
There are walls that block the view of mankind to the rewards of being in right relationship with God.
Sometimes that wall is GUILT. Sometimes that wall is FEAR. Sometimes that wall is SIN. Sometimes that wall is DISTRACTION. Sometimes that wall is INTELLECT. Sometimes that wall is COMMITMENT. Regardless of what the WALL is…..TEAR down the walls that separate us from the peace of God. TEAR DOWN the walls that block the view of the destiny that God has ordained for us.
