God’s Church
The church is a needy organism that requires the attention of its head, Jesus, and its governance, God the Father.
Without this attention, the church quickly becomes what the Bible calls “sheep who have gone astray”.
How does God attend to His church? He gives apostles to manifest the Word, Will and Way of God to the people of God. He gives prophets to lift the eyes of the people from the valley to the Hills from whence cometh their help which is from the Lord. He gives evangelists to ensure that the Truth continues to travel and meander to all ends of the earth. He gives pastors and teachers to continually teach and reteach the Word, Will and Way that leads to Salvation! There are three results that this effort drives to. PERFECTS the individuals who are initially imperfect. ENABLES the ministry that the church is commissioned to do. Then lastly, DEVELOPS the organism as a whole. God is requiring that we put our hands to the gospel plough but please note that God has already done ALL that needs to be done to ensure our success.
