Thank YOU, Father!!!!
Thank You, Father, for your Word!
You told me that You would never leave me nor forsake me. You told me that You would stick closer to me than a brother. You told me that the cattle on a thousand hills were Yours. You told me that You would prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. All this and more You told me and have held TRUE to Your Word.
Then there is another promise that makes my eyes tear up every time I read it or think about it.
Father, You told me that whenever this earthly house dissolves, we have a building of God that will never dissolve or be torn down.
To put it plainly, Father, You said that if this old body or this old dwelling or this old mind or this old job or this old relationship or this old heart or this old understanding or this old church or this old goal or this old expectation or this old routine or this old skill… If they start to break down or even dissolve, I HAVE a newness of life that is already stored up and protected for me in Heaven! I can let this stuff go! I can let this work have it.
