I thank my God that He makes my commitment…
S.M.A.R.T.
God makes my commitment SPECIFIC. God has a specific purpose for my presence and positioning. God makes my commitment MEASUREABLE. I am held accountable and “graded” for what I am supposed to do and God holds me to it. God makes my commitment ATTAINABLE. I love the fact that God wants me to win! God sets me up for victory and not for failure. God makes my commitment REALISTIC. My destiny fits and is real for ME! Lastly, God makes my commitment TIMELY. God picks the right time for the right person to do the right thing. Then it is very simple as to what God does to make our commitment S.M.A.R.T. God does two things.
First, God only receives the WILLING MIND or one who wants the commitment.
Then, secondly, God is mindful and embracing of the commitment based on what the person HAS and not what they DON’T HAVE!
How many times have we as people embarked on relationships or commitments based on the potential of the other person and not their reality??? Not good. We can encourage growth but we must embrace reality. God does that for US!!!!
