God Called Me
We cannot take this calling of God to the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, lightly! Self-perception and spiritual self-esteem are critical to this journey and effort.
If we as believer’s don’t believe in ourselves then how are we going to be living testimonies for God to draw people to believe in our God?
We may be nothing in and of ourselves but the amazing thing is that we are now something in Him!!!! I could do nothing by myself but now I can do ALL THINGS. Then on top of this we learn from this scripture that we must consider that the calling was truly not in respect of what we brought to the table. There are people who my have much worldly wisdom…but they were not called. There are people who are strong and mighty…but they were not called. There are people who are respected and popular…they we not called. God called those who would call Him to wrought a work in them. God has all of the capability needed.
God just needed our AVAILABILITY to let Him do the work through us!
So God called me IN SPITE OF what I had and did not have. God called me IN SPITE OF what I knew and didn’t know. God called me IN SPITE OF what I had done or didn’t do! Thank You, Father!!!
