I Ain’t Never Scared
One would be hesitant or apprehensive to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, in the world that we live in for various reasons. Some people are persecuted for proclaiming the Gospel. Some people are killed for proclaiming the Gospel. Some people are ridiculed for proclaiming the Gospel. Some people are ostracized for proclaiming the Gospel. There are many reasons for us not proclaiming the Gospel. However, in the context of all of the excuses, Paul declared the HE WAS NOT ASHAMED. There are many other things to believe in and to have reverence for but
Paul acknowledges that the Gospel of Jesus the Christ is the greatest reason and reasoning for His belief.
I love his primary rationale…it is the POWER and it is the power to ALL…both Jew and Gentile! There is no other belief that evokes the power that God stirs and does it to ALL and not just some! Without this power, Paul would not be saved. Without this power, I would not be saved. Without this power, none of us would be saved or delivered.
