Be Wise
Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote a valued principle, “The beginning of wisdom is ignorance.” He was saying that ignorance is not a bad thing when you don’t stay there.
The road to wisdom begins at ignorance.
We must not be afraid to say that “I don’t know”. Women are surprised to hear that even when they want the man to know. However don’t put the card to often. Your value may start to be questioned. So, when you don’t know, don’t act like you do! This is a very male characteristic but can also be found in some women. The know-it-all. The “I got it”. We can put ourselves out there so much as knowing and understanding that the bar will so high that we can never reach it. We have expectations of ourselves and others have expectations of us that can never be met. Then we all look like fools. The effort is futile. Even when we do know, we are faced with the metaphysical truth that in the presence of God we are and know nothing! God made us to adore and worship Him. When we are not looking to God, we are left without resolve and limited. With God, we have unlimited potential to do limitless things with unlimited knowledge and understanding…through Jesus the Christ our Lord!
