I Want Peace!
As amazing as God is, as much of a proponent of peace and love as God manifests, as much of a leader and team builder as God looks to be, we can have chaos with God. What I mean by this is that our relationship with God, or lack thereof, can leave us in a not so good space with God. It does not mean that we are on the verge of being destroyed by God, but it does mean that we do not have the warm-fuzzy feeling and relationship when we are looking to God.
The old folks used to call it being on God’s “chain gang”.
This is the confinement of shame that we are put to because we are guilty of something. “Lord, take the stain of guilt away and own me as Thy child.” This is the cry from the creation to the creator when we are without that peace. However, the scripture states that we are within reach of this peace through key principles.
Justification by faith starts our transition. Then our continued belief in Christ and confession of our faith maintains the relationship.
With this we have PEACE. We can walk and live in PEACE. We can try and fail with a PEACE. We can be imperfect in our being but perfected in His presence in a PEACE!
