Faith Applied
I really don’t like the fact that the hope that we are to LIVE by is one that is not seen. This does not mean that we live by a blind faith. Faith is not blind. But the hope that fuels our faith is founded upon the belief in something that we cannot see. It all does make sense because if we could see it then we would not need to hope for it. That leaves us with a hope becomes something that we WALK by.
Since we cannot see it, then we don’t need to be looking for it. Instead, we are charged to EXPECT it. We pray with expectancy.
With endure with expectancy. We suffer with expectancy. Every element of our living existence has a seasoning of expectancy which extends our vision beyond that which is physically in our midst. I can then see what I cannot see. I can then hear what I cannot hear. I can then feel what I cannot touch. God is amazing in how a relationship with Him stretches us beyond the reality that we live in. I walk as if a bill is paid when it is not. I can go forward in a painless fashion when my body is racking with pain. God lifts me above my situation to be able to enjoy His Presence and Power OVER my life. It doesn’t make sense in the natural, but it is witnessed TRUTH in the spiritual.
