Wrong With No Condemnation
Back in the day we use to say to others “Step Off!” when people where pressuring or judging inappropriately. I love the fact that even as believers we have the authority to say the same. People will attack the elect of God in the attempt to discredit their presence or devalue God. We as believers cannot tolerate this. We cannot let it be ok to throw invalid accusations and assessments to the us. God judges us! Then, in addition to this, as believers in God and the salvation that leaves us with no condemnation, we also cannot tolerate other people attacking us for what we may even be guilty. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. So, only God can judge us!!! This does not mean that we can do right or wrong and both are ok.
We are not truly above the law. However, because of the grace of God, we have been moved BEYOND the law!!!
Wrong is still wrong, but the condemnation/suffering/death of wrongness has already been completed by Jesus, the Christ, when He died upon the old rugged cross. Jesus paid the price! I am redeemed! Only Jesus…could pay the price for my wrongdoing. Only Jesus…could comfort my guilt with freedom and empowerment. Only Jesus…could love me in spite of my sin!
