Holiness
Holiness is a trait that can be passed and reflected. This gets at the point in two ways. If the product of the person is holy then the person must be holy. Holiness projected and/or produced can only come from one who is holy. Also, if the individual is holy then what they produce will be holy. Holy roots produce Holy branches! If you want your children to be holy, then you be holy. If you want your friends to be holy, then you be holy. If you want to be known as a holy person, produced holy results. If you want to draw holy people do holy things.
Holiness is godliness applied to our lives.
God has set the standard, given the example and instituted the goal. We are to be holy as He is holy. We are to be perfect as He is perfect. When we do so it benefits both those who see us and those who come after us.
This is where ministry emerges!
Show yourself holy that others may be drawn to the Presence of God. Grow the Kingdom of God by adding “fruit”. God required that we “be fruitful and multiply”. Holiness can be the nutrient that fosters the reproduction of our righteous selves in the world. The Gospel of Jesus, the Christ, must be preached and souls must be saved!!!
