It’s Bigger Than Just ME!

I have always been a person who enjoys peace. I don’t like drama and I don’t like for drama to be around me. So I will make a lot of sacrifices for the sake of peace. I will also sacrifice for others in the name of peace in their lives. I have even been known to take a “bullet” of chaos in my life to save a loved one from getting mess poured into their lives and living. That is just who and how I am. There have been negative repercussions to this. I have been called one who will avoid situations. I have also been known to abhor tight situations to the point of avoiding them. I have been seen as weak and not bold. I have felt that the realities of life work against who I am. But, this scripture’s both consoling and empowering to me! God wants us to do ALL (unconditional) that we can to live peaceably with others! He wants us to use all of the resources that HE has placed within you to cultivate, generate and promulgate PEACE to all people. Oh yeah!!! There is one person who, even at our best, will sometimes get left out of this covenant….OUR SELVES!!!! So, “…peaceably with your SELF” also!
