Calling On God
At the greatest time of suffering and torment, who do you call? Some call themselves. They look to the answer that is inside their own intellect or emotions. I can’t do that. My emotions and intellect have led me the wrong way multiple times. They take me where I want to go but not where God is directing me to go. Intellect is a false sense of understanding and awareness. To say “I Know” positions you for failure. As soon as you say I KNOW you leave yourself vulnerable to failure. We let down our guard and just take whatever we are given. It does not have to be that way. Some call other people. That is futile. There is only so much that another person can do for you. Think about it! At some point they have to die just like you. They only have so many numbered days…just like you. They have a weakness and a strength…just like us!
