No excuses!
I am so tired of hearing and using and giving excuses. We, the belieers in Jesus, the Christ, have the greatest authority, power and ability. We, the believers in Jesus, the Christ, have been positioned and postured to succeed. As the old folks say, there is no failure in God. The failure is in US! God gives us specific directions to do what His Will has ordained for our lives. It is not supposed to be easy, and it is not always to be comfortable, but it is destined! I love the fact that even in my worst situation when the times look the most bleek, I can find solace in the fact that God is going to be the ultimate victor. I am going to do the best that I can do and find God to be the winner…even if I feel that I lost. Whatever there is of me that has been handed over to God will have victory also. That which I keep for myself and for the purpose of robbing God of the glory will experience the loss and destruction.
Let it be a lesson to us all that we must give God all so that we can then receive all from God.
We can’t expect what we have not given!!! So, I will do whatever I can do and then some so as to give God the glory and to give me the victory over this flesh…and the sin!
