God don’t make no JUNK!!
The Bible clearly documents God’s assessment of what He had created in that it was “GOOD”. Light and darkness…good. Water and the sea…good. birda, animals and fish…good. Plants and insects…good. Then, mankind…good!!! Then on the sixth day when He created mankind, God went as far as the say that it was VERY GOOD. So, I am VERY GOOD!
I may not BE very good, I may not ACT very good but I AM very good!
That is not the inherent assessment given to my by my flesh, my associates and definitely not my enemies, but God said i AM very good, and that is what I go with. Sometimes I fall. I will trip over other things or even sometimes my own foot, but I fall. However, I am defined by whether or not I get up! Sometimes I stray. I have been lured to other directions, I have voluntarily chosen other directions and I have gotten lost and endup up in other directions. However, I am defined by my getting back on track. Sometimes I get down and depressed. I let the weight of my life and the world bring me down. However, I am defined by my working throguh the depression and finding once again the joy of my salvation!!!
