Separation
When I got myself connected or involved in something or someone that was not edifying to my life, God has always stepped in to help…of course after I asked Him to. This is when I feel that I can’t let go. God does a stepped process to “step in”. The first thing that God does is cause there to be discomfort between me and the something or someone. What was once so easy and smooth then gets difficult. That is a good thing because it puts distance between me and what is not good for me. I can let it go. Thank you God for loosening my grip on my sin or temptation! Then, secondly, God will break the connection between me and my sin or temptation. This initially causes injury to me and my sin or temptation. Because of the long connection the injury is necessary since I had become one with the sin or temptation. Then, lastly, God heals me back stronger from my connection or oneness with the sin or temptation.
I will go through what I have to go through to have God separate me from my iniquity.
I realize when I can’t do it myself so God has to do it in those times!
