What Do You Want?
All my life I have dealt with needing or wanting something. Some may say that this is just a characteristic of the life of a human being, but my need has been more primal than convenience. I have had the need for food. I have had the need for clothes. I have had the need for money to pay bills. I have had the need for information and understanding. These are needs that exceed the importance of a new car or a new house or the latest sneakers. These needs are the ones that are critical to my life and living.
Then God comes into my situation.
As I grew and dealt and tolerated, God made His Presence more profoundly known IN my situations of need. The need for food was either covered by food being provided or not feeling the need. The need for clothes was removed by the understanding of what I had and appreciation of such. The need for money was covered by God always providing on time. The need for information and understanding has been covered by the comfort in knowing that “God knows”! When I look back over my life and think things over, I must admit that I know that God has been the on sovereign over my life and God has left me needing and wanting nothing and noone but Him! Thank You, Father!!!!
