Let’s Not Get It Twisted!
Being a believer means that you have to believe AND confess. Romans 10:9-10 documents this requirement for all those who profess faith in the Bible being the divinely inspired word of God. To believe and confess means that you have the knowledge, understanding and experience on the inside and are willing to share this outwardly through confession to other individuals in your space. To believe and confess means that you must truly embrace faith and God as your truth and are willing to allow your outward confession of your faith to define who you are to others.
To believe and confess not only identifies the individual but also affects the individual.
When we believe God and confess in God, we began to take on the traits of God in our daily lives. Our thoughts become different. Our decisions began to adjust. Our actions change. Our outlook on life shifts Godward. All of these things and more change when we believe and confess God. Whereas before we accepted Christ we had questions…now we can answer those questions that we once asked. Who is the one that rules the Heavens and the earth? God is the one who rules the Heavens and the early…I know for myself cause He rules my life…Check It!!!
