Am I OK?
When I was leaving my apartment this morning, the concierge was letting me know that there was a leak in another apartment above mine and to be on the lookout for water coming to my apartment. I thanked her and then called my daughter to check. Thankfully so, there was not sign of water in my apartment. I told the concierge Thank You and mentioned to her that if there is anything that I can do help to let me know. Her response was interesting. She said that I should be in customer service because I have a way of calming people when I talk to them. Wow! What a powerful thing to say! I told her Thank You again and I proceeded to walk on to work. That comment stayed in my spirit as I walked away. I was touched as well as grateful. I was touched to have something nice said to me.
However, I was grateful because I had been given a nugget of confirmation that my ways are pleasing to the Lord!
As believers, we work and work, we press and press and we testify and testify only to HOPE that God is pleased. We eagerly anticipate that moment when the Holy Spirit makes us feel like HIS. In the concierge’s comment I received this validation verbally…others can “see God” in and on me! Thank You, Father!!!!!!
