An Omniscient and Omnipotent God
I am so glad that God knows and I don’t have to know. I am so glad that God understands and I don’t have to understand. I am so glad that God hears my prayer even when I don’t hear His voice.
I am limited, but God is not!
I cannot do it all, but GOD CAN! The “I and Thou” relationship that the believer is gifted to have in God leaves us in what is sometime called “blind faith” in the world. However, we know that this is not the case. To be blind means that you cannot see. The believer cannot physically see or humanly perceive the details around what God is doing. Spiritually, though, the believer gains two things that the physical cannot come close to, remembrance and assurance. REMEMBRANCE is what God has done. I love how God either brings it to our remembrance or does something right then which makes us a witness of His power and presence. Then there is God’s Blessed ASSURANCE. As we press our way through this world and endure the suffering that we have actually been called to endure, what we know can become cloudy and sometimes faint. We need God to bless us with the assurance that He is REAL…He is OURS…He is AWARE…He has ALL POWER!!!!!
