The Divine Knockout!
The testimony of Paul is a profound experience that we all should draw from to understand how God gets His servant on the right side! First, Paul FELL. God took Paul off balance to the point that Paul fell to the ground. Second, Paul HEARD God ‘s voice. God spoke to Paul as he lay in the road. Lastly, God made it all ABOUT GOD. The questions was posed about why does Paul persecute God! These three occurrences are a result of God’s efort to convert Paul. God could have done it any given time but felt that this time was perfect. I don’t knwo if Paul had a physical condition that made him susceptible or Paul was spiritually receptive. Who knows? God knew!
It was the time to break Paul and then put him back together better and for God!
God has had to break me. God has had to knock me down so that He could give me what I needed and tell me what I needed to know. It would have been nice if I was obedient and heeded to God’s voice before then but it didn’t. I was locked on what I was doing and not what God was doing! It took God knocking me down!!!!!! It hurt, but I am glad. It was tough, but I am glad. The breaking was a small price to pay for the joy of being in relationship with Him!!!
