Don’t Fight It!
The fact is that when I was reborn in Jesus, the Christ, I lost my old fun and gained a new fun. I lost my proclivity to old works and gained a proclivity to new works that are of God. When I was regenerated in Jesus, the Christ, I was rewired, if you will, to be of a nature that is like Jesus. If I fight it, I will not win. If I fight it, I will create more chaos than I resolve. What I remind myself that I must do is to let God have His Way! Get out of God’s way and let Him shape and mold my life. When I do this, life is much smoother in that I gradually and methodically move toward my “natural conclusion”.
I don’t run the show…God does! Know that!
I can’t make something happen that God has not ordained to happen! Even when it seems that I am getting my way, actually God is allowing it to happen or God has already set it in order. I will find “rest beyond the river”. Once the waves and the ripples have subsided, once I have endured the rocks and the bumps along the way, once I have navigated my way around the pitfalls, God has promised REST. I want rest!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
