They That Wait
Encouragement…. Revelation…. Prophecy…. This scripture is a popular pericope that has stirred and stimulated believers over thousands of years. However, what is the prophet Isaiah giving us. Is he just trying to encourage us. Well, he did! It is easy to get weary in your well-doing in anticipation of God’s deliverance, provision or ultimate salvation. The believer needs a bit of encouragement to unction their inner strength to endure as a good soldier. Then there is revelation in the scripture also because we can get so buried in the struggle of today in the valley that we can loose sight of the reward that is already stored up for us. We will make it with the help of the Lord! But lastly, let’s be real about the fact that we can trip up, mess up and give up so much that we don’t feel that we have a light at the end of our tunnel. This is when Isaiah 40:31 becomes prophecy for the believer. You might not see your destiny but it is there! You might not feel worthy of the desires of your heart, but He can look beyond our faults to provide our needs. You might think that the obstacles are too high to climb, but God will make a way out of what seems to be no way! If we only WAIT on the Lord, we can be RENEWED!!!!!
