Make Up Your Mind!
One of the biggest failures or weaknesses of the believer when trying to live the “saved” life is that of wavering. It is rarely addressed as a sinful element of our life, but it is regarded as a principle element of our success or failure. People go back and forth on decisions all the time.
We struggle to choose what we want, what we need, who we want, and/or why we need!
Why do we waver over things that are so trivial or even those things that are sooooo critical???? SIN!!! FLESH!!!! DISTRACTIONS!!!! VANITY!!!! INTELLECT!!!! All of these cause us to “waver”.
God’s instruction is clear. It is our selves who usher in confusion and chaos. Then we end up with a “wavering” the cripples our confidence and clarity of thought and intention. But when a person is aligned with God, there is no wavering! What they say they mean. What they promise, they deliver. What they know, they KNOW!!! All without wavering!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so glad that I KNOW that I am saved. I KNOW that I have been born again. I KNOW that The Lord is my Shepherd. I KNOW that I am His child.
