“THERE” is not “HERE”
That is the most consoling piece of information that you can tell any Believer! There are many ephemeral descriptions of Heaven. The bible talks of there being streets of gold, lion laying down with the lamb, always saying “Hi”, where the wicked will cease from troubling, where the weary will be at rest, and singing and praising God forever.
Sounds really good, but these descriptions still don’t compare to the one that I love most…”THERE” is not “HERE”.
HERE I have to deal with a lot of struggles, pains and disappointments. HERE I have to give myself life replenish the draining of life happening all the time. HERE I am left to be the victim of my own flesh, intellect and perceptions that continually lead me to depression, anger or frustration. HERE I cannot be ALL that God wants me to be but I can do ALL that God wants me to do. HOWEVER, THERE I will be changed. THERE I will put on my long white robe. THERE I will see my Daddy. THERE I will see my grandparents. THERE will be no wars. THERE will be no hurt. THERE will be no disappointment. THERE I will see my Savior face to face! THERE I will be able to tell God HOW I GOT OVER!!!!!!! Thank you Father for your GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!
