I Thank God That He Is God!!!
I thank my God that He has poured out His Spirit upon all flesh!
Why does this make me say thank you?
1)God’s Spirit is Himself. God has given me Himself. He has put Himself ON me!
2)HE pours His Spirit implying that He does not hold back or ration Himself to me. I can receive as much as I am able. I am the only limitation to what I receive.
3)God pours Himself upon my imperfect, limited, sinful…FLESH. God does wait until I am perfectly spirit. He meets me where I am!
4)God has no respect of persons when He pours.
God pours upon the young, old, rich, poor, male, female, churchy, worldly, etc. If I miss the pouring it is because I avoided it! What an opportunity God has offered me/us!!! Thank you, Father! One more thing causes me to want to shout when I think of God’s Spirit poured…He effects everyone differently! God has made me to respond to His Spirit in a way that is right for me! Some cry, some shout, some speak in tongues, some run, some clap, some smile…I don’t have to be like anyone else but ME! But remember…this is all about when He is ON you…It’s another level when He is IN you!
