What Is Your TRIGGER?
It is amazing how we can be postured for a work at one point but then positioned later. What I mean by that is in the example of Joshua. He was postured for leading the people of Israel in how he was captain of the army and the right hand man for Moses. However, God did not position him for this leadership until Moses had died. David was postured for leadership in how he was anointed as king, fought against Goliath with the army and served under Saul for 12 years. However, he was not crowned as king until Saul had been removed. So it is the same for our lives. God postures us for the responsibility/greatness that He has in store for us by leaving us in what we think is lesser than but actually is a work/suffering/holding pattern that simply prepares us.
The difference is the trigger.
For David it was Saul. For Joshua it was Moses. For Isaiah it was Uzziah. For Elisha it was Elijah. For Jesus it was the Cross. What is your “trigger”?
