Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men. — We are salt! Wow! Not sugar, but salt! Sugar puts flavor in but salt brings flavor out. Sugar will influence the flavor but Salt will preserve the flavor. In a given situation, the believer is to BRING OUT the flavor of the person encountered…not change it. then we must remember that the flavor of the person is not necessarily good. It can be bad also. Regardless the believer is supposed to bring it out. If the flavor is not positive, then there may be some resentment from the person whom you bring it out of. You may even be seen as a bad influence, but don’t lose focus. You may even have to go through some things dealing with this bad flavor that you have brought out…it is what it is. There needs to be an appreciation for the truth even though the experience of it is not good.
Thank You, Father for using me to bring out the TRUTH. Thank You, Father, for your undying clarity of love that I need to be able to deliver a sound life! I need You. The world needs YOU. I am here to deliver YOU to THEM and ME!!!!! Amen!!!!!!!!!!
