Preachin’ Ain’t Easy!
This is ministry as a living testimony. Sounds simple and churchy but it is much deeper than that! Being put up for others to see is one thing, the question becomes WHEN am I being put up there. If I was put up there when I was a nice, perfect and clean finished product it would be fine.
However…..God is putting me up there when… I am still struggling to get to know who I am, I am injured and not in the best physical or spiritual condition, I am stained and scarred from struggles, all of which were not godly, He knows that others don’t like me, He knows that my life is in danger from the exposure, I don’t know what to say or what to do. It’s crazy!!!
How can I be safe and successful when thrown out there like that for others to see, feast on and attack?
The answer is God.
Jesus told us that He would never leave us nor forsake us. God told me that he would be a fortress, a present help in the time of trouble. The Holy Spirit said that He would be abide with us and give comfort and power and strength. Our Father puts us out there not to hurt us but to help us…not to expose and expire us but to fix and to finish us! I would have thought that being on top was a reward…nope…it is the challenge!!!!!
