A Good Soldier
Don’t mistake my meekness for weakness!!!! I have told many a person this over the years! So often traditionally we have taken this statement to mean that the “meek” are being run over here on earth but there will come a time when Jesus comes back that the “meek” will be GIVEN victory. Thinking that a victorious ending is laid up for them. However, I want to tell you now that WE are not waiting. This same statement can be taken to cover a meek soldier like me. Don’t think that just because I am “meek” I can’t get the job done. LOL!!! I might not make the noise that others make. I might not be as flashy with mine as others can be. However. I am just as empowered as any other believer. I am just as covered as any other child. My armor is just as strong as any soldier. Then, greatest of all, the same Holy Spirit fills me that fills any other stolid Child of God!
So, this meek child STANDS.
This meek child FIGHTS.
This meek child ENDURES.
Then, what I love, is that this meek child OVERCOMES!!!!
