I Thank God For You
What a blessing to have a relationship and experience with someone that makes you say that you “thank my God upon every remembrance of you”. MY God…The believer strives to develop and mature their relationship with God to the point that their prayer life is strong, their meditation time is constant and their living in accordance to God’s Word, Will and Way is aligned. To have this relationship with God could conceivably push out relationships with others like a monk or nun. To have this relationship with God could realistically reprioritize other relationships todistant second at best.
So, if your intimacy and closeness with another person is to this Pauline degree, it first is strong because it is existing IN THE CONTEXT of a mature and strong relationship with God.
Secondly, it must be strong because the relationship causes the believer to react by THANKING GOD! Then it is consummately so strong that the believer has this reaction WHENEVER they even THINK ABOUT the relationship! How beautiful if the husband, wife, parent, child, friend, loved one, brother, or sister could be immersed in this bonding and intimacy with both God AND man!
