Go Get ‘Em
When I see people who are so bold in their belief and faith to tell other people, I am impressed. When I see the Jehovah’s Witnesses going house to house and passing out Watchtowers, I am impressed. When I meet the Mormon youth/young adults who are out on their missionary trek, riding their bikes and greeting people to witness of God’s goodness, I am impressed. When I see church folk who reach out to their neighbors to invite them to their church, I am impressed. All of these present themselves as true ministry to me. They stand as the true examples of those who are obedient to the Great Commission. Then on top of that I see the greatest example in the person who gives to another their greatest gift received as a way to save the life of another…in this I am touched. The empathy felt, the compassion stirred and the emotion surfaced gives the opportunity to share the love of God, the intimacy of Divine Relationship and the path of righteousness with another, regardless of the “other”. We all have the need to be saved. We all have the situation of sinful contamination. We all struggle trying to overcome carnal desires.
