Overcoming FEAR
Fear is an intimidating force that, when allowed, grips the individual and cripples them to lose all semblance of power and stability.
If you are a strong person, fear will make you weak. If you are a wise person, fear will make you foolish. If you are a hopeful person, fear will make you give up. If you are a generally happy person, fear will render your depressed and sad. If you are a creative individual, fear will leave the mind empty and without newness and vitality. Do not underestimate the power of fear! But, remember that this is only WHEN ALLOWED. The presence and potential of fear cannot be eliminated or ignored. So, the believer is challenged to not allow fear to take its place in the spirit of God’s creation. Don’t give in to it and it won’t have you to take over! So easy to say but tough to accomplish. God’s Word takes care of that. Even though you may see or hear scary stuff, don’t get scared. Why? God is with us!!! Know that God’s Presence is our Power and Protection. Then whenever we slip up and forget this fact, God will correct us and direct us to the place that allows us to realize His Presence once again! Thank You, Father, for understanding and fixing ME!!!!!
