Look Up
When the Lord of Lords is governing your life, when the Gift of Glory is the key to your life and living and when the King of Kings is the ruler of your life, no matter how things may be, the believer only needs to lift up his or head to raise themselves above the mess. We look down to see that there are enemies who are trying to destroy us, We look down to see that there ditches dug for us to fall into. We look down to notice bumps and bruises on us to commemorate. We look down to see the fact that our feet still touch the ground that houses our resting place. For all of these things we look down. This gives us the obvious alternative to look up to the hills…look up to the heavens…look up to the light…all to see that what is down is not.
We have got to look up and live the life that God intends for us.
Depression can’t hold you if you look up. Frustration can’t weigh you down if you look up. Anger can’t bind you when you look up. We must look up and see that God IS and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. I love the King of Glory for that very fact. I will tell the world that God IS because He has rewarded ME! He has saved ME!
