I Can’t Wait!
It is so hard to wait. The bible says that patience is a virtue, but I believe that it is an unattainable aspiration. Patience sounds good, looks good, seems good, sees good and reaches good, but the problem is that it does not FEEL good. We are all human beings who simply want what we want. No need to try to play it off or act like it is not true. People want and will do whatever their abilities, conscience and conventions will allow. It’s only human, but waiting takes on a whole new sentiment when the object of your waiting is God. The bible encourages us to wait on the Lord. It is still hard to wait even when it is on the Lord. We ar supposed to have confident faith that whatever we seek will be tended to by God in His time. The only problem is that His time is not usually OUR time. We have to wait. The answer to our prayer is more than what we can handle sometimes and God waits on our development. We have to wait. There are other things that need to happen first. We have to wait. There are other things that we should get done before our answer can be provided. We have to wait on God…it doesn’t matter how long…He has given us strength already…we are are positioned for victory…WAIT!
