Don’t Worry Be Happy!
In this scripture we find that David is acknowledging his craving and need for joy an gladness. David is definitely not alone. It is amazing how much “joy and gladness” can solve and resolve! Depression, fear, anger, apathy, confusion, pain, oppression, bondage, etc. all cower to the power of “joy and gladness”.
JOY is the embodiment of the power that God yields to his creation.
A flower cannot have JOY. A bird cannot have JOY. However, a man or woman have the privilege of being able to have JOY! I so thank God for the preeminence of JOY in my life. His Spirit has adorned my life with JOY and given me that refuge and understanding reflecting in my reaction to JOY’s presence….GLADNESS! This is why they are a pair, “joy and gladness”, if JOY is present and you know it, then you have no choice but to have GLADNESS! Get to know JOY in you and then your presence (emotion and physical appearance) will react by showing GLADNESS!
