Ministry to Others
Paul gives the example of how the believer should have the sincere desire to see people saved. This Christian walk is not about “you get yours and I’ll get mine”. It is about “since I got mine let me give your yours”!
The sincerity of the Christian walk is couched in the heart of the individual.
After you have given God your heart, God emits the worthy and necessary elements of ministry from here…all fueled by DESIRE. We DESIRE to be saved. We DESIRE to be successful. We DESIRE to have good relationships. It is so amazing how God has promised and presented that He will give you the DESIRES of your heart. Here is where the giving and sacrifice must begin for the salvation of Israel. Israel was his home, and Paul wanted his home to have and experience the salvation they had attained through Jesus, the Christ. Do we have the same desire of our home? Do we have the same desire of our community? Do we have the same desire of our country? Do we have the same desire of the whole world? We MUST desire and seek the salvation of others and an overflow of our desire to come from the right place. However, note that our prayer only makes it to MIGHT!!! It is not guaranteed!
