Can’t We All Just Get Along
Those of us who are in the Kingdom of God and are anxiously and actively awaiting the glorious return of Jesus, the Christ, need to get along!!! Sounds like it would be something that would naturally and unconsciously happen since we have the spirit of God in us, but it doesn’t. There are believers who struggle to have edifying and constructive relationships with other believers. There are believers who are unwilling to connect with another believer because of fear. There are believers who sabotage relationships over and over again and are unwilling to determine why. Our flesh craves others but our flesh also does not want to share our self with others. What do we have to do? We must be nice to each other. Go back to the basics and show niceness to others. Be nice to folks. Not because they are nice to you but because you want to be nice to them. Then, in addition to being nice, make a special effort to be nice to those others who are of the household of faith…the Kingdom of God. If we will show a preference to those who are of the Kingdom of God then others will be drawn to be in the Kingdom with us!!! They will want to have what we have in the Godly relationships with people!
