We Gotta Give
The life of the believer is not just praise and worship 24/7! This may surprise some people who think that the life of the believer is all spirit-filled and metaphysical. There is also a business aspect to the life and ministry of the believer. There is giving, both tithes and offering. The church administratively needs resources to be able to function so there is business to get and apply monies collected in church. There are processes that must be followed and applied in how things are run. It is not a “wing it” situation. There maintenance, cleaning and monitoring responsibilities in the church. Everyone does not do it but there are those who have been chosen to be responsible in these areas. Even though only some are responsible for these, all benefit from them being done. Since these business elements are important and necessary, God gives us an urgency and order to how we conduct business. This applies to both in church and out of church business. God wants His children to be a reflection of who He is based on what they do, yes, but this is where we must be a reflection of God in HOW we do.
Work hard. Keep the spirit of God in our efforts.
Allow everything to be done in service of the Lord!
