Divine Balance For the Believer
It is tough as a believer for the reason that this life in Christ is a roller coaster ride. We are up some times and down some times and almost to the ground some times! We are taught to attain and to be without. We are conditioned to know overflow and to know emptiness. What a joy it is to find yourself at any point when you can say that you have balance! It would be great to be in-between and not to have to suffer through the extremes. The believer has that potential and ability!!! The believer knows to have joy and give thanks when we think of the goodness of God and ALL that He does for us… I cannot make it through the tribulations of my life without patience.
I have to let patience have her perfect work which liberates the people of God for the bondage of the situations that we can be in!
There will always be a gap between those two as the extremes. Then comes the powerhouse balancer! Prayer is what allows the believer’s life to have a semblance of balance when things are haywire. Prayer takes you where you can’t go, does what you can’t do, gives what you have never had and loves the unloveable. Then Paul tells us to be quick to forgive and slow to anger. People cannot give a Pastor the right spirit to be able to do this…but God CAN!!!
