Dem Jokers!
Without God, I can’t do it! Sorry to have to admit it but I can’t!!! Those folks that play tricks on me, those folks who talk about me behind my back, those folks who lie to my face, those folks who have hurt me either physically or metaphysically. It is time for them to answer to their calling. That is how I feel, but what I know is that I am to love them anyhow.
Regardless of the reciprocity that I may want to offer, I am ordained as a regenerate child of God to wish, pray and enact love toward them in spite of what they may have imparted toward me.
That is the truth. That is the commitment. That is the challenge. It is not something that I am to do in order to BE saved. It is something that I am to do to reflect the fact that I AM saved. It is not something that I am to do in order that God may love me. It is something that I am to do to show God that I love Him. Then don’t think that I am so clean in this situation. Isn’t it funny that when we are looking for someone else to be punished we can always find some reason why we have no right to expect someone else to clean up a situation when we have as much or mess our selves in our situations. Who are we to expect reciprocity when we have been graced to not receive it in ours?
