Ministry of Realness
Romans 12:15 – “Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.”
It is critical in the ministry of Jesus, the Christ, that we do just as Jesus did which was to meet people where they were. There is a common misconception that we are to act a certain way to show that we are Godly or spiritual or righteous and that certain way is to show a person who although imperfect displays a perfect life with perfectly holy decision and perfection incarnate attitude toward living. What a crock!!!!!! We are broken beings with weak existences and flawed resources. That is what makes us who we are. But the most important component that I am referring to is that Davidic clarity and transparency.
We should be able to testify of the sinners that we were and to then see Him in the streets through us!!!
That has truly hurt my heart how ministers but they need to be open to checking out new church. This is a new church that challenges the old. What does Chuck want? Chuck wants to hang out in a place where there are no herbs. Chuck wants to enjoy not being!!! But since I am, when pastor “is” then we give him encouragement and then when pastor “is not” then we reward him with “Have Mercy”
